Internship

The internship program at Horizons trains those who desire to enter into cross-cultural ministry but lack the training and experience necessary to do so. Our program varies from year to year, based on the number of interns, their interests and talents, and their prior experience and knowledge.

Practical ministry

Interns will be part of a team reaching international students at the University of Colorado, Boulder, as well as internationals in the Boulder and Denver metro areas. This will involve leading Bible Studies, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and outreaches. Much learning will occur as the intern encounters different religions, worldviews and cultures.

Living

Interns will live in the Horizons International Student Center in Boulder for a period of one semester or a year. Our student center houses nearly 50 students, many of whom are international. It is an exciting multi-cultural community and provides many ministry opportunities.

Service

Interns serve the community they are a part of by cleaning, cooking, doing administrative work, and contributing their personal skills and talents.

Travel

Interns will have one or more opportunities to travel to a foreign country to minister with Georges or other members of the team. Horizons has connections and staff members in several countries, including Kosova, Lebanon, Zambia, Malaysia, and Morocco. Because of this, interns can participate in ministry with teams around the world.
